How we began
We started our PERA account in December 2025. Medyo late na kaming nagsimula sa retirement saving, kaya kailangan naming maging deliberate sa perang dumaraan sa amin. Our working contribution target is 10% of income on average. Some deposits come from salary; others may come from additional income or a bonus. The amount can vary, but the decision to set money aside must be repeated.
PERA Micro Harvesting is the name of our personally managed retirement portfolio journey. We contribute, study possible holdings, make selective investment decisions, and record purchases, sales, dividends, costs, and results. Our retirement purpose remains long term. A sale inside the account is an investment decision; it is not money we are taking out to spend.
Our Facebook posts began telling this story before we published a blog or launched a PERA website. This article starts the longer public record. The blog will carry dated decisions and updates. The website will hold explanations and policies that readers may revisit. Facebook will share shorter Journey, Method, and Record posts and point to the published articles and guides.

Shariah Compliance Advisory (Updated September 9, 2026)
The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) has officially confirmed that it has ceased publishing its list of Shariah-compliant securities.
In November 2025, the PSE informed Micro Stock Trader that its Shariah initiative had been temporarily paused for an internal evaluation. In a subsequent email dated September 9, 2026, the PSE clarified:
“Please be informed that PSE has officially ceased publication of Shariah-compliant securities.”
Accordingly, Micro Stock Trader will continue applying a conservative, independently screened approach to its halal-focused investment strategies, in shā’ Allāh. This screening forms part of our personal portfolio governance and does not constitute an official Shariah certification or religious ruling.
