1️⃣ Introduction — A Defining Moment in Our Journey
Looking back now, malinaw na malinaw na we have reached a major inflection point in the Micro Stock Trader journey. The Board Lot Warrior ecosystem — once experimental, scattered, and fueled by multiple series under the Subok banner — is now substantially established, refined, and anchored on a unified strategic framework.
November 2025 reshaped everything.
It was the month when our trading identity finally gained clarity, coherence, and discipline.
2️⃣ Closing the Subok Series and Entering a New Era
If we had to mark the official beginning of this newfound direction, the date is November 15, 2025 — the day we published:
“Launching a New Series: Strategic Deep Averaging — P/L-Driven Down-Cycle Strategy (Live Trading Edition).”
This wasn’t just another blog post.
It was a declaration of identity — the moment we chose structure over spontaneity, rule-based discipline over emotional trading.
Two days earlier, on November 13, 2025, we formally closed the entire Subok Series with:
“Subok Series Market Declaration – Bottom Accumulation Phase (Nov 13, 2025).”
With that announcement, one chapter ended.
A new one began — not as accidental traders reacting to the market, but as systemized traders following pre-committed rules with clarity and purpose.
3️⃣ What We Learned in Just Two Weeks
As we spent the next two weeks building the SDA Accumulation and Exit Ladders, refining the Dividend Yield Multiplier Exit Rule, correcting anchor prices, implementing UPL-based ladders, and absorbing the true math behind disciplined averaging, a deeper realization emerged.
A realization perfectly captured by Warren Buffett:
“The stock market is a no-called-strike game. You don't have to swing at everything—you can wait for your pitch. The problem when you're a money manager is that your fans keep yelling, ‘Swing, you bum!’”
Source: The Tao of Warren Buffett by Mary Buffett and David Clark, via EngineeringNews.com, as quoted in Business Insider.
**Before SDA, we were swinging too often.
After SDA, we finally learned to wait for our pitch.**
This is the patience we never had before.
SDA forces discipline:
-
Accumulate only in predefined zones.
-
Exit only when fundamental triggers say so.
-
Ignore noise.
-
Ignore pressure.
-
Ignore imaginary fans saying “Swing, you bum!”
Then came Samuelson’s lesson — a truth we felt deeply:
“Investing should be more like watching paint dry or grass grow. If you want excitement, take your money and go to Las Vegas.”
Source: Paul Samuelson, via carterprivateclientgroup.com.
SDA taught us that disciplined investing is supposed to feel “boring.”
Not boring in a dull way.
Boring in a structured, predictable, stress-free, and mathematically consistent way.
The adrenaline disappeared — and that was the sign we were finally doing it right.
4️⃣ The Birth of a Cohesive Ecosystem
Today, the Board Lot Warrior ecosystem stands more unified than at any point in our history.
We now operate multiple portfolios under one rulebook:
-
Halal Core Growth Portfolio (Long-Term)
-
Shariah-Compliant REIT Portfolio
-
Ethical Turnaround Picks
-
REITs & Dividend Stock Fund
-
Jimmy Series ₱5K Seed Fund
-
SDA Mastery Portfolios across several stocks
All using:
-
the same vocabulary
-
the same ladder system
-
the same discipline
-
the same SDA-driven psychology
This cohesion is what gives the ecosystem its strength.
5️⃣ Transformation into a Fund Manager Mindset
This new structure didn’t just streamline our portfolios — it transformed us.
SDA pushed us away from emotional, reactive, “retail trader” habits and into the mindset of calm, intentional, rules-driven execution.
A mindset where:
-
system > impulse
-
rules > emotion
-
math > predictions
-
patience > adrenaline
We began to operate less like hobbyists and more like disciplined stewards of capital.
This shift is subtle, but profound — and it changes how we approach every future decision.
6️⃣ Where We Go From Here
The direction forward is now clearer than ever:
-
Deeper integration of SDA principles
-
Continuous refinement of ladders and triggers
-
More robust portfolio coordination
-
Strengthening our long-term, rule-based approach
-
Mastery of patience, discipline, and intentional execution
This is the next phase of the Board Lot Warrior ecosystem —
one built on clarity, coherence, and quiet conviction.
And we take that next step with gratitude for the lessons of November 2025, and confidence in the systems we now follow.
📌 Shariah Compliance Advisory (Updated Nov 26, 2025)
The PSE has confirmed that its Shariah screening program is currently paused, with no new lists to be released until their internal review is completed. Although news outlets reported quarterly updates up to mid-2025, these later lists are no longer accessible on the PSE website.
For now, the PSE’s Shariah-Compliant Securities page and all past lists have been removed from the public website. The December 25, 2024 list is the last official version in Micro Stock Trader’s possession, downloaded before the page was taken down, although other investors may still hold later copies such as the reported July 4, 2025 release.
All halal-focused strategies under Micro Stock Trader will use a conservative, self-screened approach until official guidance resumes, in shā’ Allāh.
