Equalized % Net UPL Thinking (₱10,000 Logic)

Why Percentages Matter More When Capital Is Standardized
HomeMicro Harvesting › Capital Architecture › Equalized % Net UPL Thinking

Micro Harvesting banner showing equal ₱10,000 position values across different stocks with balanced scales, illustrating equalized percentage net UPL thinking.

👉 Explore the full Micro Harvesting framework →

  6. Common Misreads Without Equalization

  7. The Performance Lens That Scales

The Problem with Raw Peso Thinking

Kapag peso agad ang tinitingnan:

  • mas napapansin ang “malaki” kahit mataas ang risk

  • minamaliit ang “maliit” kahit consistent

  • nagiging emotional ang comparison ng trades

₱300 gain sounds better than ₱120 —

What Equalized % Net UPL Means

₱10,000), net of fees.

Ibig sabihin:

Why ₱10,000 Is the Logical Unit

How This Normalizes Decision-Making

Kapag pare-pareho ang capital base:

  • pare-pareho ang harvest targets

  • pare-pareho ang emotional load

  • pare-pareho ang risk perception

Hindi ka na nagtatanong ng:
“Malaki ba ang kinita ko rito?”
Ang tanong na lang ay:
“Efficient ba ang trade na ito?”

Comparing Apples to Apples

Isang trade:

  • +0.8% net UPL sa ₱10,000

Isa pa:

  • +1.1% net UPL sa ₱10,000

Hindi mahalaga:

  • ilang shares

  • anong presyo

  • anong ticker

Common Misreads Without Equalization

The Performance Lens That Scales

Ang Equalized % Net UPL Thinking ay mahalaga dahil:

  • gumagana sa ₱50,000 o ₱5,000,000

  • pareho ang logic kahit dumami ang positions

  • madaling i-track, i-compare, at i-improve

Capital Blocks vs Board Lots Explained

Why Micro Harvesting Thinks in Money, Not Just Shares
HomeMicro Harvesting › Capital Architecture › Capital Blocks vs Board Lots Explained

👉 Explore the full Micro Harvesting framework →

  7. The Proper Mental Model

What a Board Lot Really Is

What a Capital Block Really Is

Why Confusing the Two Causes Problems

How Micro Harvesting Uses Board Lots

How Capital Blocks Drive Decisions

Kapag capital block ang iniisip mo:

  • pare-pareho ang target profits

  • pantay ang emotional load

  • mas madali ang capital rotation

Hindi ka nag-a-adjust ng expectations kada stock.
Pare-pareho ang laro, iba-iba lang ang itsura.

Common Mistakes Retail Traders Make

The Proper Mental Model

Why Position Value Matters More Than Share Count

The Capital Lens That Changes How You Trade
HomeMicro Harvesting › Why Position Value Matters More Than Share Count

Micro Harvesting banner comparing high share count with lower value versus fewer shares with higher position value, highlighting why position value matters more than share count.

👉 Explore the full Micro Harvesting framework →

  6. Common Mistakes When Fixated on Shares

  7. The Capital-First Mindset

The Share Count Trap

What Position Value Really Measures

Ang position value ay simpleng sukatan:

Presyo × Shares = Capital at Risk

Why the Market Doesn’t Care About Your Shares

Kung bumaba ang presyo ng 1%:

  • pareho ang epekto sa ₱10,000 position

  • kahit 10 shares man iyan o 10,000 shares

Equal Risk, Unequal Shares

Dalawang trader:

  • Trader A: 10,000 shares ng ₱1 stock = ₱10,000

How Position Value Simplifies Decisions

Isang sukat, isang lohika.

Common Mistakes When Fixated on Shares

The Capital-First Mindset

Rule #1: Unlimited Buys, Constrained Thinking

Why Freedom to Buy Requires Discipline to Think

👉 Explore the full Micro Harvesting framework →

  3. The Meaning of Constrained Thinking

  4. How the Rule Prevents Overtrading

  5. Freedom Without Panic

  6. Common Misinterpretations

  7. Why This Is Rule #1

What “Unlimited Buys” Really Means

Why This Rule Sounds Dangerous

Para sa maraming trader, parang delikado ito.
Unlimited buys?

The Meaning of Constrained Thinking

Dito pumapasok ang ikalawang bahagi ng rule.

Constrained Thinking means:

  • bawat buy ay may malinaw na dahilan

  • bawat posisyon ay may hangganan

  • walang “bahala na” entries

  • walang emotional stacking ng trades

Hindi ka puwedeng:

  • bumili dahil bored

  • bumili para bumawi

  • bumili dahil may gut feeling

How the Rule Prevents Overtrading

Ang overtrading ay hindi dami ng trades.
Ito ay kawalan ng structure.

Kapag constrained ang thinking:

  • alam mo kung bakit ka pumasok

  • alam mo kung ano ang hinihintay mo

  • alam mo kung kailan ka hihinto

Kaya kahit maraming buy actions,
kontrolado pa rin ang kabuuang galaw.

Freedom Without Panic

Dahil unlimited ang buys:

  • hindi ka nagmamadali

  • hindi ka natatakot ma-miss

  • hindi ka naka-fixate sa iisang trade

Kapag may ibang opportunity, puwede kang pumasok.
Kapag wala, puwede kang tumigil.

Common Misinterpretations

“Pwede pala akong bumili nang bumili.”
✔️ Oo — kung pasok sa rules.

“Hindi ba ito averaging down?”
❌ Hindi. Isang posisyon, isang buy lamang.

“Paano kung maubos ang capital?”
✔️ Kaya may capital limits at position sizing rules.

Unlimited buys ≠ unlimited risk.

Why This Is Rule #1

  • FOMO

  • scarcity mindset

Kapag alam mong puwede kang pumasok muli bukas,
hindi ka nagiging desperado ngayon.

Ang Rule #1 ang pundasyon ng kalmadong execution.

The Micro Harvesting Rulebook Overview

The Non-Negotiables That Make the System Work

  3. What the Rulebook Controls

  4. What the Rulebook Forbids

  5. Flexibility vs Freedom

  6. The Trader’s Role Under the Rules

  7. Why the Rules Are Non-Negotiable

Why a Rulebook Exists

The Nature of “Frozen Rules”

What the Rulebook Controls

  • paano at kailan lalabas

What the Rulebook Forbids

May mga bagay na tahasang ipinagbabawal:

  • averaging down

  • revenge trading

  • panic selling

The Trader’s Role Under the Rules

Sa Micro Harvesting, ang trader ay:

  • hindi bida

  • hindi hero

  • hindi manghuhula

Ikaw ay operator ng sistema.

Ang trabaho mo ay:

  • sundin ang rules

  • obserbahan ang outcomes

  • i-log ang nangyayari

  • hayaan ang sistema ang gumawa ng trabaho

Why the Rules Are Non-Negotiable

What Is Micro Harvesting

A Plain-Language Definition for Retail Traders

HomeMicro Harvesting › Orientation › What Is Micro Harvesting

  5. Why “Micro” Matters
  6. What It Is Not
  7. The End Goal

The Plain-Language Definition

Micro Harvesting is a rule-based investing system where the objective is to collect small, repeatable profits from the market without forcing outcomes.

The Core Idea

A Simple ₱10,000 Example

Micro Harvesting vs Traditional Trading

Sa tradisyunal na trading:

  • Entry ang bida

  • Prediction ang puhunan

  • Emosyon ang kadalasang kalaban

Sa Micro Harvesting:

  • Rules ang bida

  • Capital preservation ang prioridad

  • Ang emosyon ay tinatanggal, hindi pinapamahalaan

Hindi mo kailangang maging tama sa direksyon.
Kailangan mo lang maging consistent sa proseso.

Why “Micro” Matters

What It Is Not

Hindi ito:

  • day trading

  • get-rich-quick scheme

  • prediction-based system

The End Goal
