Natapos na natin ang limang-parteng serye tungkol sa 17th PSE-Ateneo CSSC Industry Briefing, Brokerage Visit, and Seminars.
Marami tayong naiuwi mula sa activity—mula sa kasaysayan ng Philippine Stock Exchange, brokerage operations, trading rules, hanggang clearing and settlement.
Pero bukod sa technical learnings, may ilang simpleng detalye noong araw na iyon na gusto rin naming i-record.
Hindi sila lecture topics.
Hindi rin sila market concepts.
Pero sila iyong maliliit na bagay na nakatulong para maging mas maayos, comfortable, at memorable ang buong activity.

Pagkatapos ng presentation at visit namin sa Chinabank Securities, may snacks na inihanda para sa participants.
At masasabi nating tama ang timing.
Galing kami noon sa morning activities—PSE Museum, Events Hall, at brokerage visit—kaya sakto ang kaunting kape at snacks bago tumuloy sa lunch at sa mas mahahabang afternoon seminars.
May breads at individually packed snacks na nakahanda pagkatapos ng visit.
Hindi naman ito malaking bahagi ng official program.
Pero magandang example ito ng isang simpleng detail na nakakatulong sa flow ng isang whole-day activity.

Dietary Preference: Isang Maliit Pero Mahalagang Detalye
Sa registration pa lamang, nagtanong ang organizing team tungkol sa dietary preferences ng participants.
Simple lang ang sagot ni Micro Stock Trader:

Walang mahabang paliwanag.
At nang dumating ang lunch, chicken meal ang na-provide.
Hindi namin ito tatawaging halal-certified dahil wala naman kaming ganoong confirmation. Pero malaking bagay na tinatanong muna ang dietary preference at isinasaalang-alang ito sa meal arrangement.

At siyempre, hindi kumpleto ang pagbisita sa Philippine Stock Exchange nang walang maliit na remembrance.
Bumili si Micro Stock Trader ng black PSE jacket bilang souvenir ng visit.
Hindi naman ito course requirement.
Wala rin itong kinalaman sa valuation, risk management, board lots, o clearing and settlement.
Pero pagkatapos ng ilang buwang CSSC journey at matapos makarating mismo sa PSE Tower para sa culminating industry activity, parang tama lang na may isang bagay na maiuwi na magpapaalala sa araw na iyon.

More Than the Program
Kapag binabalikan natin ang isang training activity, kadalasan ang naaalala natin ay ang speakers, slides, modules, at concepts.
Pero ang actual experience ay binubuo rin ng maraming maliliit na detalye.
Ang maayos na registration.
Ang snacks pagkatapos ng morning visit at afternoon briefings.
Ang consideration sa dietary preference.
Ang lunch pagkatapos ng mahabang morning program.
At iyong souvenir na dadalhin mo pauwi.
Wala sa mga iyon ang magiging dahilan para maging mas mahusay tayong investor o trader.
Pero sila ang tumutulong para maging maayos, comfortable, at memorable ang learning experience.
At pagkatapos ng lahat ng technical discussions ng CSSC Industry Briefing series, magandang dito muna tayo magtapos:
sa appreciation sa mga taong nag-asikaso rin ng mga bagay na hindi nakikita sa presentation slides.
Sometimes, the little things count too.
The PSE has confirmed that its Shariah screening program is currently paused, with no new lists to be released until their internal review is completed. Although news outlets reported quarterly updates up to mid-2025, these later lists are no longer accessible on the PSE website.
For now, the PSE’s Shariah-Compliant Securities page and all past lists have been removed from the public website. The December 24, 2024 list is the last official version in Micro Stock Trader’s possession, downloaded before the page was taken down, although other investors may still hold later copies such as the reported July 4, 2025 release.
All halal-focused strategies under Micro Stock Trader will use a conservative, self-screened approach until official guidance resumes, in shā’ Allāh.
